Why a free course about this by Legau
At Legau, we didn’t start as technologists. We started as lawyers, billing hours, chasing deadlines, drafting after hours. Together, we (the founders) spent nearly 30 years in the practice of law. Like most of our peers, we were trained to research, draft, and advise, but no one explained the economics, the client dynamics, or the systems that shape careers.
When we moved into building AI for the profession, we carried those lessons with us, along with the privilege and responsibility of perspective. This course is part of that responsibility: practical knowledge we wish we’d had earlier, from how firms really make money to how AI is reshaping the business of law.
And it connects to our broader mission: promoting lawyers’ well-being by reducing stress, contributing to education by sharing knowledge openly, and strengthening institutions by helping firms build practices that are modern, profitable, and deeply human. That’s why when you become a client of Legau, you’re not just subscribing to software, you’re contributing to something bigger.
